# Evaporative Air Cooler Series 18 with Side Air Discharge

All models of Rundongfang permanent magnet evaporative air coolers support a customizable master-slave intelligent coordinated control system, a patented product independently developed in-house.

Rundongfang offers customers a 26000 m³/h permanent magnet evaporative air cooler. Environmentally friendly air conditioners, also known as evaporative air coolers, water air conditioners, or water-cooled central air conditioners, are cooling and ventilation units that integrate cooling, ventilation, dust prevention, and odor removal. In addition to providing fresh air and lowering temperatures for factory workshops, public places, and commercial entertainment venues, eco-friendly air conditioners have a key feature: energy saving and environmental protection! This is an upgraded green product with no compressor, no Freon, and no copper tubing. Its key components—the evaporative cooling pad (a multi-layer corrugated fiber composite) and a 1.1KW main motor—consume only 1/8 of the electricity used by traditional central air conditioners, delivering substantial energy savings across all industries.

The Rundongfang patented intelligent centralized control system is a multi-unit control system integrating one master unit with up to 32 slave units. Through the master unit’s touchscreen, it enables single-unit control, zone control, and full control. The core cooling component of the Rundongfang air conditioner is a high-efficiency evaporative wet curtain — a “purely natural multi-layer corrugated plant fiber composite.” Based on the natural physical principle that “water evaporation absorbs heat, and evaporation area affects evaporation efficiency,” the fan delivers air indoors while fresh outdoor air passes through the water-soaked wet curtain. The air comes into full contact with the water and absorbs sensible heat from the air, thereby achieving cooling, ventilation, dust removal, and increased indoor oxygen content. It is especially suitable for high-temperature environments and densely populated places.

Main application areas include:
Industrial: workshops of various automobile plants, hardware plants, electronics plants, machinery plants, electrical appliance plants, motorcycle plants, leather goods factories, garment factories, pharmaceutical plants, textile mills, shoe factories, plastics factories, and other factory workshops.

Reference air change rates for various settings
Definition of air change rate:

Air change rate (times/hour) = Total indoor supply air volume (m3/h) ÷ [Indoor area (㎡) × Indoor height (m)];
General environments require 30-40 air changes per hour;
Crowded public places require 30-40 air changes per hour;
Crowded high-temperature locations or production workshops require 40-50 air changes per hour;
High-temperature production workshops with severe pollution require 50-60 air changes per hour;
In the more humid southern regions, the air change rate should be appropriately increased, while in the hotter northern regions it can be appropriately reduced.

The method for calculating the number of units depends on the type of air outlet required on site;
The selection of unit models and quantities offers flexibility based on site conditions;
Number of units = Site volume × Air change rate ÷ Actual supply air volume per unit;
Spot cooling supply should be selected separately according to actual conditions, and the total air volume may be appropriately reduced;
Indoor air supply ducts must match the air cooler model. Based on the actual installation environment and the required number of air outlets,
design suitable air supply ducts and outlets.
