# Low-Carbon Air Conditioner RDF-08FS

The **RDF-08FS** is a configuration variant of the RDF-08 low-carbon fresh-air platform (28.5 kW class), sharing the evaporative-plus-DX cooling principle, R410A circuit, one-to-one split and intelligent control. As with the FC variant, the FS-specific specification is issued on the order engineering drawing rather than guessed on this page.

## Why the RDF-C low-carbon platform

- **Evaporative pre-cooling + compressor stage.** A direct-expansion coil assisted by evaporative cooling reaches rated capacity with roughly one third less compressor power than conventional cabinet air conditioners.
- **Fresh-air positive pressure.** One-to-one indoor/outdoor systems continuously bring in filtered outside air, holding dust and odors out under slight positive pressure.
- **Documented savings.** Manufacturer comparison for a 2,000 m2 workshop: twenty 5 HP cabinet units draw 80 kW; ten RDF-08C deliver the same cooling at 52 kW - about 33,600 kWh saved over a four-month cooling season.
- **R410A, digital scroll, intelligent control.** Cooling and dehumidification modes, WiFi/APP control and 53-68 dB(A) operation depending on model.
- **Same platform, different installation form:** FS denotes a form-factor variant for specific ducted/cabinet layouts.

Rated capacity under nominal conditions; effective coverage depends on ceiling height, heat load, insulation and fresh-air requirement. One-to-one indoor/outdoor configuration.

**RDF-08FS specification note:** Not separately tabulated in the 2026 catalogue; the 08-platform performance envelope applies pending the order-confirmed FS nameplate/drawing.

## FS configuration

Use the family table below (08 row highlighted) for performance planning, and treat exact FS dimensions, airflow, sound and weight as order-confirmed values. They are marked on the quotation and the dimensional drawing for sign-off before production.

## Frequently asked questions

### What makes this a 'low-carbon' air conditioner?

Evaporative pre-cooling of fresh air plus a direct-expansion compressor stage reaches rated capacity with roughly one third less compressor power than conventional cabinet units. The documented 2,000 m2 case uses 52 kW instead of 80 kW - about 33,600 kWh saved over a four-month season.

### Does it bring in outside air?

Yes - unlike a split or cabinet AC that recirculates, the RDF-C range continuously supplies filtered fresh air at slight positive pressure, pushing heat, dust and odors out. It is a ventilation and IAQ upgrade as well as cooling.

### What refrigerant does it use?

R410A across the range. No lower-GWP refrigerant option is listed in the current 2026 catalogue.

### How is it controlled?

One-to-one indoor/outdoor configuration with intelligent control and WiFi/APP operation; group/BMS options for multi-unit projects protocol details and overseas APP availability are confirmed at quotation stage.

### What is the difference between FS and FC?

Per the factory's model-naming definitions, the FS denotes the ceiling-suspended ducted unit with a centrifugal fan, while the FC is the ceiling-suspended standard version with an axial fan.

### Can you quote the FS with installation?

Yes - installation scope depends on country and duct design; share the site drawing and we quote equipment plus, where available, supervised installation.

## FAQ

### What is a low-carbon air conditioner?

An air conditioning line engineered around energy efficiency - reducing electricity use per unit of cooling compared with conventional units, which lowers both running cost and operating emissions.

### Where are low-carbon air conditioners used?

They suit spaces needing precise temperature control - offices, control rooms and production areas - especially sites pairing them with HVLS fans or evaporative cooling for a lower-carbon overall system.

### Can they work together with HVLS fans or evaporative coolers?

Yes. Hybrid setups are common: airflow from HVLS fans improves perceived cooling and lets air-conditioning setpoints rise, while evaporative units pre-cool ventilation air in suitable climates.

### Where can I find specifications for each model?

Each product page carries its specification table; model-level details such as capacity, power supply and options are confirmed during quotation against your site requirements.
